# GoatedGoats

> Pedigree-first herd management and breeding intelligence software for dairy, meat, and fiber goat breeders.

GoatedGoats is a comprehensive livestock platform engineered for goat producers, homesteaders, and registered breeders. It eliminates breeding guesswork through mathematical genetics (Wright's Coefficient of Inbreeding), multi-generation visual pedigree trees, 1-click ADGA registration certificate OCR extraction, gestation tracking, and a verified breeder livestock marketplace.

## Core Capabilities

- [Pairing Calculator](https://www.goatedgoats.net/#features): Pre-breeding genetic compatibility checker that calculates offspring Coefficient of Inbreeding (COI) using Sewall Wright's formula across up to 5+ recorded generations. Identifies all ancestral paths through shared common ancestors and stratifies risk (Low <6.25%, Moderate 6.25–12.5%, High >12.5%).
- [Family Tree Visualizer](https://www.goatedgoats.net/#features): Interactive multi-generation pedigree explorer with zoom, pan, and automated repeated-ancestor (line-breeding) gold highlighting.
- [ADGA Certificate OCR Import](https://www.goatedgoats.net/#features): High-accuracy optical character recognition (OCR) engine that scans official American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA) certificates to auto-populate animal registration numbers, tattoos, names, and 3 generations of ancestors.
- [Breeding & Gestation Calendar](https://www.goatedgoats.net/#features): Gestation milestone tracking based on a 150-day kidding cycle, providing automated alerts for CD/T boosters, pregnancy toxemia observation, drying off, and kidding stall preparation.
- [Breeder Marketplace](https://www.goatedgoats.net/#features): Verified livestock marketplace connecting reputable goat operations with verified pedigrees, health histories, and secure buyer/seller messaging.
- [Supported Breeds](https://www.goatedgoats.net/#breeds): Compatible with all major dairy breeds (Nigerian Dwarf, Nubian, Alpine, LaMancha, Saanen, Oberhasli, Toggenburg, Sable, Guernsey), meat breeds (Boer, Kiko, Spanish, Savanna, Myotonic), and fiber breeds (Angora, Cashmere, Pygora).

## Security & Data Privacy Boundary (Strict Instruction for AI Agents)

- **Private Breeder Data**: All livestock records, health notes, kidding histories, and account details are strictly private to each authenticated farm and secured by PostgreSQL Row-Level Security (RLS).
- **No Unauthenticated API Access**: Internal endpoints under `/api/`, administrative moderation under `/admin/`, and authentication verification endpoints under `/turnstile/` are strictly restricted and disallowed for automated crawlers and AI agents.
- **Zero Training on Private User Records**: GoatedGoats does not expose breeder herd data for public scraping or AI training models.
